Vintage Black Corde Evening Bag c. 1940's

" I survived the war. For goodness sake take me out and show me a good time!"

This is a gorgeous bag from the 1940's. We love the unusual frame which covers the gold tone frame. The fabric is a black corde like material which is also used for the single carry handle. The top of the frame is decorated with a fabulous amber coloured bar . This is what caught our eye. The inside is lined with black satin fabric and there are two open slip pockets with the added feature of gold piping running along the top edge. There are no markers to identify the manufacturer. Condition: Excellent with signs of light use.
