Vintage Black Satin Evening Bag c. 1950's

The main thing we love about handbags made by Lewis in the 1950's is their attention to detail. This is a perfect example, slightly larger than most evening bags so you can put a few more things in it. The whole bag and carry handle are covered in a sumptuous black, heavy satin fabric. We love the gold tone metal pattern running along the rim of the solid frame, giving the bag some structure. The gold tone clasp mirrors the Lewis logo. The inside of the bag is lined with black silky satin fabric. There are three slip pockets one zipped two are open. The label reads Lewis. Condition: Mint
