A beautiful bag from the 1940's. This unusually shaped bag is covered with black corde fabric. The front of the bag has been decorated with black velvet dots. The front and back of the bag extend at the sides to cover the goldtone metal frame. The beautiful clasp is decorated with a mother of pearl bead. The inside is lined with black grosgrain and there are two open slip pockets, which have gold piping on the top of them. The single carry handle is made of the same fabric as the bag. No markers to identify the manufacturer. Condition: Near Mint.
