Vintage Mock Crocodile Box Style Vanity Handbag c. 1950's

We love box style bags because they look just fabulous. This is a perfect example from the 1950's. This structured bag and lid is covered in light brown mock crocodile leaving the gold tone metal frame and clasp exposed. There are two carry handels either side of the bag. The inside of the bag is lined with cream suedette and there is one ope slip pocket. The surprise is when you open the bag there is a lovely big mirror attatched to the roof of the lid so you can check not only your lippy but your whole face before you enter the room, no excuse for chocolate on your chin here! No markers to identify the manufacturer. Condition: Near mint
