Vintage Snakeskin Handbag, Box Style With Chain Shoulder Strap c. 1960's

We love finding good quality snakeskin bags and this is a perfect example from the 1960's. It is a box style bag covered in glorious chocolate brown snakeskin which has been sewn in panels over the whole of the bag. It has a gold tone hinged clasp. The gold tone chain handle threads through foru hole on the top of the bag which means you can alter the length of the chain to suit. The inside of the bag is lined with brown fabric and there is one open sliip pocket. The label reads Jane Shilton genuine leather. Condition: Very good with signs of light wear to the skin (we feel this adds to the character of a snake skin bag)
