Vintage Stanley Hagler Green and Pink Flower Necklace by Ian St Gieler c. 1989
"I want a man who's kind and understanding. Is that too much to ask of a millionaire?"
Ian St. Gielar was the head designer for Stanley Hagler (the famed jewellery designer to both royalty and movie stars in the 1950s). Each signed piece of Ian St Gielars is in limited edition, and they are now both classified as works of art and highly collectable. Ian worked with vintage beads and stones to create breathtaking jewellery. This one is my favourite! Glamorous and hugely wearable. The pale green and pink faceted glass beads of the two string chain are so delicate and compliment the flower pendent. The three colour cabochon lies behind the flower which is an array of pink rhinestones on a gold plated filigree backing. The single hook clasp has an adjustable glass beaded chain.
